Breast Cancer Survivors to sell carnations

TERRE HAUTE — Wabash Valley Breast Cancer Survivors, a nonprofit group, will sell dark pink carnations on Friday at various business locations around the Valley.

Carnations will be on sale at WTHI, Hobby Lobby, Rural King, Meadows Shopping Mall by MCL and Stein Mart and Sam’s Club. Sales will also be in the lobbies of First Financial Bank branches: Downtown First Plaza, Meadows, Southland Shopping Center, Springhill, West Terre Haute, North Plaza, Rosedale and the Bank Operations Center.

The WVBCS mission is to decrease the impact of breast cancer, increase breast cancer awareness and ensure that no woman has to face breast cancer alone. The group pays for mammograms for uninsured women in the Wabash Valley.

The carnations will cost $1 each, baby’s breath sprigs $1, corsages and carnation bowls $5 each, and floral arrangements of various prices.

Advance orders can be made by calling 812-877-3025, or 249-2951. Specify your name, address, phone number, number of flowers desired and location of pick-up site. Delivery is offered in the Terre Haute city limits for an order of $20 or more at one location.
