I-70 reopens after accident

TERRE HAUTE — A semitrailer that rolled over in the median of Interstate 70 in Clay County caused some traffic disruption this morning.

All lanes of I-70 were open by 8:15 a.m., according to the Indiana State Police at Putnamville.

At about 5:30 a.m., the westbound rig went into the median and overturned at the 17-mile marker, which is near the Clay-Vigo county line. Traffic flow was restricted in both the eastbound and westbound passing lanes during the accident investigation and clean-up.
