Vigo County Jail Log: May 13, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Monday

Joran L. Scott, 35, 2400 block of North 10th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:25 a.m. Battery.

Montana C. Norris, 26, 1100 block of East Mill Street, Shelburn. Booked 10 a.m. Theft.

Kaleb Bragg, 24, 1600 block of East Scarlet Oaks Court, Terre Haute. Booked 10:54 a.m. Probation violation.

Melissa D. Gross, 41, 2400 block of Garfield Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11:53 a.m. Probation violation and operating while intoxicated.

Jeremy K. Rich, 31, 10 block of Allendale Place, Terre Haute. Booked 12:11 p.m. Probation violation.

Donald R. Cox, 50, 5900 block of Erickson Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:11 p.m. Visiting a common nuisance, possession of methamphetamine, manufacture methamphetamine and possession of chemical reagents/precursors (two counts).

Kande Bagandi, 27, no address available. Booked 1:45 p.m. Criminal trespassing.

Broc E. Hudson, 22, 5700 block of East Newcomer Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 6:19 p.m. Leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Kaleigh N. Elkins, 22, 100 block of South Sumner Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 7:27 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Alonzo E. Vanhorn, 32, 2200 block of Sycamore, Terre Haute. Booked 8:03 p.m. Failure to appear.

Charles W. Mount, 34, 500 block of North 25th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:41 p.m. Failure to appear.

Jay D. Hann, 29, 2300 block of North Second Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 10:01 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts), forgery and fraud.

Damon R. Pruitt, 21, 11200 block of North U.S. 41, Rosedale. Booked 11:03 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts) and possession of methamphetamine.

Tuesday

Misty M. Essex, 24, 300 block of South Third Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 4:16 a.m. Receiving stolen property and possession of paraphernalia.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
