TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Charles E. Dinkins, 58, 1200 block of Lorraine Street, Danville, Ill. Booked 9:14 a.m. Arson.

Mark Pitts, 20, 2000 block of First Avenue, Clinton. Booked 11:20 a.m. Probation violation.

Robert L. Rivard, 22, 100 block of North Sixth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 1:44 p.m. Parole violation.

Brent T. Herring, 40, 900 block of Gannon Road, West Terre Haute. Booked 1:40 a.m. Battery-domestic.

Conrad M. Harrell, 48, 1600 block of Second Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:22 p.m. Court order (two counts).

Joshua A. Brewer, 29, 1400 block of Paige Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 8:25 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Sarah E. Cox, 29, 700 block of South Walnut Street, Crawfordsville. Booked 11:27 p.m. Possession of a controlled substance (two counts), possession of paraphernalia and court order.


Nathaniel A. Arguello, 19, 8000 block of South Sullivan Place, Terre Haute. Booked 12:06 a.m. Possession of marijuana/hash and possession of paraphernalia.

Dominic A. Lowe, 27, 300 block of North 21st Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:17 a.m. Criminal trespassing.

Dale R. Oaks, 36, 2900 block of East Park Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 1:38 a.m. Possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and false reporting.

William Hawkins Jr., 30, 100 block of South 12th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:27 a.m. Parole violation, manufacture methamphetamine and false reporting.

Erica G. Hull, 34, 100 block of South 12th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:18 a.m. Manufacture methamphetamine.

Wesley J. Bigler, 52, 1200 block of Dreiser Square, Terre Haute. Booked 4:22 a.m. Manufacture methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
