Multiple crashes and slide offs along I-70

The Indiana State Police Putnamville District is currently working multiple crashes and slide-offs near the 26-mile marker in eastern Clay County, continues east to the 42-mile marker near U.S. 231 in Putnam County.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes are affected as of 1 p.m.

No serious injuries have been reported — mostly property damage and very minor injuries.

I-70 is open, but traffic is moving slowly. Motorists are advised to drive with caution.
