TERRE HAUTE —
The Terre Haute South Vigo Jets Varsity A and Junior Varsity B teams have qualified for national competition and are working to raise funds to help cover expenses.
From now until June 23, Tokyo Japanese Cuisine, 920 S. Third St., will donate 60 percent of proceeds from the dining bill to the fundraiser, if diners bring in this article.
The national competition is from June 28 through July 2 in Orlando.
There are 16 students and one coach, Dan Wunderlich, who will be traveling. The estimated cost is $12,000, which includes flights, room and board and travel to and from the airport.
The school will be able to finance a portion of the amount, but the rest must be raised.
