Drug raid leads to arrest of siblings

TERRE HAUTE — Siblings were arrested Thursday after police said they discovered an active meth lab in a Terre Haute home, authorities said.

According to the Indiana State Police, Glenda Sue Rudisel, 51, Terre Haute, was arrested and is facing felony charges including manufacturing meth, possession of meth and possession of precursors. Her brother, Timothy Wayne Rudisel, 53, of Terre Haute, was also charged with possession of meth, in addition to a charge of maintaining a common nuisance, a class-D felony.

Members of the Indiana State Police Putnamville District Meth Suppression Team said they discovered an active “one-pot” meth lab inside a home in the 1300 block of First Avenue in Terre Haute upon arriving at the home at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.

The investigation was prompted by tips from members of the community, police said.

The brother and sister were taken into custody and incarcerated in the Vigo County Jail, according to a release from police.
