Indiana 54 near Dugger to close for railroad repairs

DUGGER, Ind — The Indiana Department of Transportation today announced that Indiana 54 will be closing to repair a railroad crossing east of Dugger.

On Monday, Oct. 15, at about 8 a.m., railroad crews will close Indiana 54 from the junction of U.S. 41 to the junction of Indiana 59. Crews will be making repairs to the crossing located 3 miles west of Indiana 59, near the Sullivan/Greene County line. All work is scheduled to be complete by 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, weather permitting.

The official detour will route traffic on U.S. 41, Indiana 48 and Indiana 59.
