VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces an asphalt resurfacing project will begin Monday, March 24, on Indiana 163 from Indiana 63 through Clinton to the west end of the Wabash River Bridge.
Wabash Valley Asphalt Co. was awarded the $1.6 million contract. The project is scheduled to be completed by July 11, 2014.
Construction crews will resurface Indiana 163 and install curb ramps throughout the city. There will be temporary closures on the sidewalks at the intersections where construction is taking place. Crews will restrict one lane of traffic in the area; they will be working with flaggers.
