TERRE HAUTE —
A presentation by the Vigo County Election Board will be the focus for the March 17 meeting of the Greater Terre Haute Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
The presentation will feature Vigo County’s new, electronic, touch-screen voting equipment and an explanation of the new voting centers and their locations. “The look and feel of voting will change, and this is an opportunity for the public to get a hands-on look at the new equipment, practice voting using some mock ballots, and to ask questions,” an NAACP spokesperson said in a news release.
The March NAACP branch meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Vigo County Public Library. The meeting is open to the public.
