Vigo County Jail Log: June 14, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Matthew Encalado, 31, 6200 block of North Clinton Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:45 a.m. Battery.

William L. Allsup, 40, 10 block of North Ninth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 4:22 p.m. Court order (two counts).

Venoit L. Ellington, 53, 1600 block of South 10th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:31 p.m. Intimidation.

Leonard J. Fields, 31, 4700 block of North Hendricks Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:09 p.m. Failure to appear.

Adam Stuckey, 41, 600 block of East Washington Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 9:54 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Friday

Christopher Hutchins, 18, 600 block of South Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:42 a.m. Failure to appear.

Moke I. Kayembe, 23, 1500 block of Heritage Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 3:50 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
