TERRE HAUTE — A national news story about SPPRAK – Special People Performing Random Acts of Kindness – is slated to run from 6:30 to 7 p.m. today during the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, said NBC Network News producer Samira Puskar today in an email.

Around broadcast time, Puskar said, be sure to visit the website for a web extra on SPPRAK, as well as the main story.

The story was taped April 29 at Lost Creek Elementary School in Vigo County and features area school children noting acts of kindness they witness each day through a program known as the “SPPRAK Pack.”

SPPRAK is a Wabash Valley-based not-for-profit formed in 2009.
