Planned power outage Monday in Pimento area

PIMENTO — Residents of Pimento will undergo a planned 30-minute power outage around 10 a.m. on Monday, Duke Energy officials report. The outage will be a result of electrical line work at Harland Drive and U.S. 41.

“We are having to do some line maintenance work on our system in that area,” said Rick Burger, Duke Energy district manager. “When we drop the circuit, there will be a small outage. The work will be done weather permitting,” Burger said.
