Vigo County Jail Log: July 12, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

James Moore Jr., 47, 1500 block of Fifth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 7:01 a.m. Failure to appear.

Micky J. Thompson, 41, 6800 block of North U.S. 40, Terre Haute. Booked 11:32 a.m. Court order.

Mary Taft, 24, 100 block of East Voorhees Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:03 p.m. Bond revocation.

George R. Foster, 22, 7400 block of West Villarosa Road, Rosedale. Booked 3:39 p.m. Failure to appear.

Dakota W. Carpenter, 19, 100 block of East Mill Street, Shelburn. Booked 4:42 p.m. Criminal conversion and criminal trespassing.

Frederick E. Whitlock, 49, 500 block of 15th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:15 p.m. Invasion of privacy.

John Ridge, 45, 10300 block of North County Road 900 East, Lewis. Booked 10:48 p.m. Dealing methamphetamine.

Amanda J. Brown, 31, 400 block of West Miller Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 10:53 p.m. Criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Friday

Brian R. Dunaway, 25, 700 block of North Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:51 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
