Vigo County Jail Log: Aug. 23, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Charles R. Rowe, 29, 1000 block of South Gorham Place, West Terre Haute. Booked 10:15 a.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Brittany Hall, 22, 10 block of Oakland Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:20 p.m. Maintaining a common nuisance, possession of controlled substance and possession of marijuana/hash.

Delarma A. Edmonson, 25, 800 block of North Ninth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:29 p.m. Maintaining a common nuisance, possession of controlled substance and possession of marijuana/hash.

Jeffrey W. Strain Jr., 27, 13100 block of South 51st Place, Prairie Creek. Booked 4:25 p.m. Habitual traffic violator and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.

Zacherey T. Brown, 20, 200 block of 13th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:38 p.m. Receiving stolen property.

Heather R. Delano, 30, 2300 block of Locust Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:52 p.m. Theft.

Joshua E. Heichel, 23, 2900 block of South 13 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:43 p.m. Failure to appear.

Kevin D. Shively, 42, 1100 block of South Sixth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:42 p.m. Failure to appear.

Daniel J. Hollander, 26, 5300 block of Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 10:39 p.m. Dealing marijuana/hash, maintaining a common nusance, possession of controlled substance, neglect of a dependant and possession of marijuana/hash.

Johanna F. Bruischart, 22, 5300 block of Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 10:47 p.m. Maintaining a common nuisance.

Ted A. Batista, 26, 900 block of South Park Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:25 p.m. Burglary, criminal conversion, resisting law enforcement, reckless driving and driver never licensed.

Friday

Virginia R. Thomas, 38, 500 block of Second Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:18 a.m. Public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Theopolis D. Batson, 29, 1700 block of North 25th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:25 a.m. Failure to appear.

Benjamin D. Daugherty, 24, 9800 block of East Davis Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:31 a.m. Domestic battery and interference with crime report.

Krystin Reed, 24, 10 block of Foulkes Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 12:47 a.m. Failure to appear.

Clarissa Brown, 22, 1800 block of North 6 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:38 a.m. Probation violation.

Arthur M. Grady, 59, 1500 block of Locust Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:30 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Darnell E. McCray, 37, 9300 block of Melanie Drive, St. Louis, Mo. Booked 2:56 a.m. Public intoxication.

Matthew R. Swingler, 23, 10 block of Home Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:38 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Candace L. Coble, 24, 1500 block of Meadow Street, Wabash. Booked 4:55 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Darlene Hayes, 22, 1900 block of Blaine Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 6:04 a.m. Battery and criminal mischief.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
