City still seeking help for crow patrol

TERRE HAUTE — The City of Terre Haute is seeking volunteers to assist with crow mitigation efforts. A training session for volunteers will take place at 5 p.m. Monday in the courtroom at City Hall, 17 Harding Ave. Volunteers will learn about roosting habits of crows and how to safely use pyrotechnics to encourage crows to roost in acceptable areas.

Anyone can volunteer by meeting at 5:30 p.m. any evening in the City Hall parking lot. Citizens interested in volunteering but who cannot attend the training meeting will receive on-site training on the evening they volunteer.

For more information regarding the Crow Patrol or the training meeting, call the Crow Patrol Hotline at 812-244-CROW (812-244-2709).
