Vigo County Jail Log: Nov. 1, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Carl E. Ross, 35, 3400 block of Eaton Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 7:24 a.m. Dealing marijuana/hash (two counts), money laundering, corrupt business influence, receiving stolen property, theft and maintaining a common nuisance.

Charles A. Kemp, 36, 1500 block of South 19th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:32 a.m. Corrupt business influence, dealing marijuana/hash, possession of marijuana/hash (three counts) and maintaining a common nuisance.

Rodney D. Johnson, 33, 2000 block of North 13th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:05 a.m. Possession of marijuana/hash and maintaining a common nuisance.

Robert L. Sandifer Kr., 32, 2300 block of Locust Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:19 a.m. Possession of marijuana/hash and maintaining a common nuisance.

Joey W. McKee, 29, 2400 block of Locust Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:36 a.m. Public intoxication.

Christian R. Tate, 45, 3600 block of North Countryside Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:23 a.m. Failure to appear.

Harty L. Crow, 37, 1400 block of Connery Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:24 p.m. Failure to appear.

Jesse K. Laffoon, 29, 2300 block of Fifth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 2:37 p.m. Court order and failure to appear.

David Naylor, 61, 300 block of North Pinewood Drive, Perrysville. Booked 5:28 p.m. Court order.

Matthew W. Cook, 31, no address available. Booked 6:30 p.m. Bond revocation (three counts) and escape.

Billy J. Lockard, 35, 6400 block of Cox Road, Terre Haute. Booked 7:31 p.m. Failure to appear.

Dana R. Jackson, 25, 300 block of East Taylor Street, Ladoga. Booked 11:11 p.m. Theft.

Friday

Travis S. Kaake, 18, 600 block of Martin John Road, Lanesville. Booked 1:54 a.m. Public nudity and resisting law enforcement.

Cory D. Fisher, 22, 1600 block of North Chestnut Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:32 a.m. Battery, disorderly conduct and strangulation.

Daniel J. Hensley, 21, 1200 block of South Sixth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:30 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Mesaab K. Alenzi, 28, 2600 block of Sibley Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:53 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
