Vigo County Jail Log: April 9, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Monday

George R. Piker, 54, 3500 block of West Indiana 246, Farmersburg. Booked 10:48 a.m. Battery-aggravated, intimidation and battery-police.

Bret A. Brown, 24, 7600 block of East Cherry Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:01 a.m. Failure to appear (three counts).

Cody L. Julian, 21, 600 block of East Sycamore Street, Jasonville. Booked 12:10 p.m. Battery-aggravated and interference crime.

Troy A. Heckler, 47, 400 block of East Margaret Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:43 p.m. Sexual misconduct with a minor.

Brice T. Holden, 21, 1300 block of South Fourth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:44 p.m. Failure to appear.

Michael L. Kirkendall, 50, 2400 block of South Second Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 7 p.m. Possession of marijuana/hash, false reporting and failure to appear.

Jason W. Sickles, 38, 3100 block of East Hollywood Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 10:52 p.m. Failure to appear.

Tuesday

Jamie M. Frey, 36, 500 block of Settlers Lane, Terre Haute. Booked 12:48 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Travis Moore, 18, 2000 block of South 21st Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:03 a.m. Parole violation.

Drew R. Sluder, 33, 600 block of North Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:23 a.m. Public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Samantha D. Peak, 22, 2000 block of Seaberger Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 7:44 a.m. Robbery, possession of marijuana/hash and criminal mischief.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
