Vigo County Jail Log: Feb. 28, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Elizabeth A. Johnson, 41, 200 block of North Eighth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 3:45 a.m. Failure to appear (three counts), public intoxication and false reporting/informing.

Donald S. Hendricks, 31, 100 block of North Pineview Drive, Carmel. Booked 11:28 a.m. Probation violation.

Lafaette I. Garrett, 30, 2800 block of North 15th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Christina A. Walton, 21, 1800 block of North 6 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:02 p.m. Failure to appear.

Bani Moralez, 25, 1400 block of South Eighth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:13 p.m. Operating while intoxicated and driver never licensed.

Thomas H. Molina, 38, 1600 block of South 10th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:49 p.m. Child exploitation.

Cory D. Kline, 24, 1000 block of North Fruitridge Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 8:08 p.m. Failure to appear and criminal conversion.

Lorenzio Thompson, 30, 8300 block of South U.S. 41, Terre Haute. Booked 10:11 p.m. Sexual misconduct with a minor.

Friday

Donald R. Mazura II, 40, 2100 block of Putnam Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1 p.m. Criminal trespassing.

Edmund C. Obrien, 18, 10 block of Maywood Drive, Danville, Ill. Booked 3:18 a.m. Minor consuming.

Tyler W. Stevenson, 22, 400 block of South 25th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:14 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
