Margaret Ave., U.S. 41. intersection to see lane restrictions

TERRE HAUTE — State road crews are scheduled to restrict traffic lanes today for pavement repairs at one of Terre Haute’s busiest intersections.

The Indiana Department of Transportation said in a news release U.S. 41 (Third Street) southbound will have the two inside lanes restricted beginning at 8 a.m. near the intersection of Margaret Avenue.

The work is scheduled to be completed by 4 p.m. today, INDOT said. INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.

n The southbound lane of Seventh Street from Ohio Street to Wabash Avenue will be closed through Aug. 7 for building repair.
