Vigo County Jail Log: Feb. 1, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Marc A. Yates, 34, 900 block of South Ninth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:02 a.m. Failure to appear.

Chad A. Dycus, 40, 1500 block of South 17th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:15 p.m. False reporting/informing.

Aaron Hall, 25, 800 block of West 37th Street, Anderson. Booked 2:30 p.m. Court order.

Zachary Martin, 23, 700 block of South Towne Street, Clinton. Booked 3 p.m. Child molesting.

Erick B. Vinson, 21, 1000 block of North Eighth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:10 p.m. Battery-domestic, strangulation, criminal trespassing and resisting law enforcement.

Brian M. Baker, 35, 2100 block of Seabury Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:22 p.m. Probation violation.

James M. Shafer, 21, 1500 block of Second Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:28 p.m. Bond revocation.

Brandon M. Switzer, 27, 700 block of South Eighth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 4:49 p.m. Failure to appear.

James J. Patrick III, 21, 600 block of Madison Street, Michigan City. Booked 5:30 p.m. Failure to appear.

Timothy L. Starks, 21, 9000 block of King Place, Crown Point. Booked 5:39 p.m. Possession of marijuana/hash.

Warren E. Large, 63, 400 block of East Margaret Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 5:47 p.m. Probation violation.

Bradley A. Sharp, 45, 1200 block of Dreiser Square, Terre Haute. Booked 6:03 p.m. Failure to appear.

Friday

Jose M. Nunez, 18, Bloomberg Hall, Terre Haute. Booked 1:58 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Nicholas R. Keefer, 22, 3000 block of South 12th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:10 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
