An early taste of Lemonade Day:

TERRE HAUTE — Caden Boyd hands a lemon shakeup to Brandon Freeman (under the lemon mask) at the Lemonade Day kickoff Thursday evening at the Ohio Building. Lemonade Day will take place on May 18 and is geared toward helping youth learn how to own and run their own businesses. Organizers expect about 500 local children to be involved this year. Lemonade Day is a free, nationwide program to develop businesses through the time-honored act of building and running a lemonade stand. Nationwide, more than 1 million children are expected to take part in about 100 U.S. cities. More information on the local May 18 event can be found at http://terrehaute.lemonade

day.org. For information about sponsorships and partnerships, contact Courtney Richey at 812-535-5186 or email crichey@smwc.edu.
