Vigo County Jail Log: May 14, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Misty M. Essex, 24, 300 block of South Third Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 4:16 a.m. Receiving stolen property and possession of paraphernalia.

Erving L. Sanders Jr., 600 block of Oak Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:56 a.m. Intimidation and court order.

Billy E. Seeley, 32, 300 block of South Ninth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 10:54 a.m. Court order (two counts).

Shane Boatman, 33, 1900 block of Seabury Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 5:37 p.m. Public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Brandy E. Wallace, 37, 10200 block of South Sherfick Lane, Rosedale. Booked 5:49 p.m. Dealing methamphetamine, dealing marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Dakota J. Stephens, 18, 1000 block of Rourkes Road, Rosedale. Booked 7:18 p.m. Strangulation, battery and disorderly conduct.

Donald R. Orman, 26, 2300  block of West Woodland Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 8:21 p.m. Bond revocation and possession of paraphernalia.

Joshua C. Garrett, 25, 2300 block of North Tiffin Place, West Terre Haute. Booked 10:58 p.m. Probation violation.


Darius M. Cooper, 2500 block of North 15 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:53 a.m. Burglary.

Evelyn R. Bruns, 51, 600 block of South Cherry Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:25 a.m. Domestic battery.

Kande Bagandi, 27, no address available. Booked 3:09 a.m. Failure to appear and criminal conversion.

William C. Griffie, 10 block of South Gilbert Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 5 a.m. Domestic battery.

Brian L. Vicars, 39, 2200 block of North Tabortown Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:43 a.m. Court order.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
