Vigo County Jail Log: May 8, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

James C. Smith, 52, 1000 East Voorhees Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:51 a.m. Court order.

Christopher Phillips, 21, 1300 block of North Sherman Avenue, Brazil. Booked 7:27 a.m. Failure to appear.

John R. Eldred, 25, 3200 block of Washington Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 10:24 a.m. Forgery and court order.

Matt Daley, 35, 2100 block of North 29th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:12 p.m. Resisting law enforcement.

Rusty W. Lafleur, 32, 1600 block of Chestnut Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:16 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts), escape, probation violation and court order.

Jeremy A. Fennell, 33,600 block of Lafayette Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:27 p.m. Court order.

Natalie S. Johnson, 47, 1100 block of North Fourth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:16 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Joseph P. Rose, 36, 4700 block of North Hendricks Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:58 p.m. Resisting law enforcement and battery.

Misty M. Padgett, 23, 300 block of South Third Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 8:15 p.m. Bond revocation (two counts).

Jeremy D. Harshbarger, 23, 3100 block of North 22nd Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:53 p.m. Failure to appear.

Kelvin T. Heyen, 30, 200 block of South Ninth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 8:57 p.m. Failure to appear.

James D. Richey Sr., 57, 1000 block of South 21st Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:25 p.m. Probation violation.

Thomas C. Renehan, 37, 300 block of Mebeker Street, Clinton. Booked 11:08 p.m. Habitual traffic violator.

Wednesday

Gregory A. Pies, 42, 2700 block of Wallace Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 2:09 a.m. Residential entry, intimidation and pointing a firearm.

Christopher Cronkhite, 26, 800 block of South 16th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:36 a.m. Invasion of privacy, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Wayne R. Compton, 25, 2300 block of South Center Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:53 a.m. Failure to appear.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
