FFB announces decorating contest winners

TERRE HAUTE — The top five First Financial Bank branches, and the organizations whose members decorated them, have been chosen in the annual lobby Christmas decorating contest.

Below are the winning not-for-profits, whose members selected the judges, the FFB branch they decorated, and the prize money awarded.

• 1st Place — Vigo County Vocal Chords, main office — $1,500 cash prize

• 2nd Place — CHANCES and Services for Youth, Springhill branch — $1,000

• 3rd Place — St. Mark United Church of Christ, Seelyville branch — $750

• 4th Place — Epsilon Sigma Alpha Delta Zeta Chapter, Southland branch — $500

• 5th Place — Bethlehem Chapter #6 Order of Eastern Star-Industrial, Park branch — $450.

All other First locations (six) — honorable mention prize — $400

Judges were Tom Cummins, The Apple House; Cynthia Phillips, Sabla assistant professor of Art and Design at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, and Nancy Nation of the Swope Alliance.
