TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

Kyle P. Fenton, 21, 1800 block of South Fourth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:55 a.m. Burglary.

Chad E. Higginbotham, 27, 2100 block of Cleveland Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 7:44 a.m. Public intoxication and resisting law enforcement.

Michael Vicars-Goings, 28, 1500 block of South 20th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:49 a.m. Probation violation.

Dustin A. Taylor, 32, 1000 block of South 23rd Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:58 a.m. Possession of marijuana/hash.

Shawn A. Johnson, 48, 1300 block of South Elizabeth Street, Kokomo. Booked 12:57 p.m. Court order.

Brent L. Cooley, 46, 13500 block of Hoffman Road, Brazil. Booked 3:08 p.m. Attempted murder.

Jacob M. Hanna, 19, 2900 block of Iams Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 4:08 p.m. Bond revocation.

Brock J. Oeffler, 26, 500 block of East Helen Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:46 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts)

Jason O. Isom, 24, 300 block of North 14 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:11 p.m. Criminal recklessness and pointing a firearm.

William R. Waggoner, 47, 2000 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:20 p.m. Public intoxication.

Anthony W.  Cheesman, 30, 100 block of North 14th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:34 p.m. Dealing methamphetamine (two counts) and maintaining a common nuisance (two counts).

Katie N. Delaunois, 25, 6800 block of West Piker Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 6:47 p.m. Fraud.

Robert W. Johnson, 48, 100 block of South 19th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:57 p.m. Probation violation.

Deanna Smith, 22, 2600 block of North 11th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:57 p.m. Failure to appear.

Jackie L. Morgan, 20, 5900 block of West Concannon Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 11:55 p.m. Minor consuming and resisting law enforcement.

Wednesday

Scott S. Bailey, 21, 1200 block of North 26th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:10 a.m. Criminal trespassing.

Paul Hoffert Jr., 20, 4700 block of North Hendricks Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:12 a.m. Criminal trespassing and probation violation.

Derek M. Norris, 19, 1200 block of Mulberry Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:39 a.m. Violation of a no contact order.

Darinel Roblero, 30, 1400 block of South Eighth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:08 a.m. Operating while intoxicated and driver never licensed.

Theresa M. Bright, 44, 2100 block of South Ninth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:38 a.m. Disorderly conduct.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
