TERRE HAUTE —
Very little damage was reported from a late evening storm that rolled through the Wabash Valley on Tuesday.
Emergency dispatchers in Vigo, Clay and Sullivan counties had word of little or no damage from the storm, which hit Terre Haute after 9 p.m.
In southern Vermillion County, a few trees and tree limbs were downed between Universal and the Vigo County line, according to the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Department. In Vigo County, only one report of a fallen limb and a blown transformer reached the Sheriff’s Department as of about 9:45, after the storm had passed.
Duke Energy reported about three dozen customers without power in Vigo and Vermillion counties as of about 10 p.m.
