SHELBURN, Ind. – Motorists should expect minimal delays because of lane restrictions for U.S. 41 in Sullivan County next week as the railroad company makes repairs to the rail crossing 1.2 miles north of Shelburn.
Work on the crossing will begin at about 8 a.m. on Monday, June 24. Railroad crews will close one lane of traffic at a time, while a minimum of one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Repairs to the crossing are anticipated to be complete by late evening on Friday, June 28, weather permitting.
