Vigo County Jail Log: June 13, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Wednesday

Mary F. Thomas, 33, 2300 block of Sycamore Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:26 a.m. Failure to appear.

Lester W. Cunningham, 52, 2700 block of West County Road 1100, Brazil. Booked 10:49 a.m. Court order.

Jennifer M. Yockey, 30, 1900 block of East Harmony Jackson Street, Brazil. Booked 10:59 a.m. Failure to appear.

Crystal L. Pruitt, 28, 100 block of Autumn Ridge Lane, Vincennes. Booked 1:26 p.m. Violation of a no contact order.

Tommy D. Wright, 25, 2100 block of North Elm Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:56 p.m. Battery-domestic.

Jodi Lynn Roberts, 30, 1500 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:13 p.m. Obstructing justice and theft.

William L. Carter, 29, 3000 block of North 14 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:30 p.m. Failure to appear.

Shane J. McGovern, 33, 400 block of South 19th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:10 p.m. Failure to appear, disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement.

Thursday

Gary K. Shelley, 44, 300 block of Walnut Street, Brazil. Booked 1:47 a.m. Probation violation.

Matthew Westerfield, 40, 2900 block of   College Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:23 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Jeremy R. Ross, 30, 6200 block of East Haythorne Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 5:08 a.m. Criminal recklessness.

William Sexton, 40, 700 block of West Madison Avenue, Paris, Ill. Booked 5:37 a.m. Failure to appear.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
