Suspected drunk driver arrested after crash

TERRE HAUTE — A Terre Haute woman was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after a crash early Tuesday.

Emergency crews responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash on McDaniel Road near Gross Road in southern Vigo County at about 1 a.m.

Indiana State Police said Courtney Dailey, 22, was driving southbound when her car drifted off the road. Dailey overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll.

Police said evidence at the scene suggested alcohol impairment. Dailey had a 0.26 percent blood-alcohol content when tested, police said, more than three times the legal limit.

She refused medical treatment for minor injuries and was booked into the Vigo County Jail. She was also cited for various traffic violations.
