Get tickets now for Vigo Historical Society dinner

TERRE HAUTE — The Vigo County Historical Society’s Annual Dinner is set for later this month, but the deadline to register for the event is just a week away.

This event is held each year to update the community on the Society’s progress of the past year and look forward to the year ahead.

The 2014 Annual Dinner will be conducted Jan. 31 at Clabber Girl, 900 Wabash Ave in downtown Terre Haute. There will be a social period followed by dinner and a program titled, “Our Future History Begins Now.”

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $35. Tickets can be may be purchased by calling the Historical Museum at 812-235-9717 or at visiting www.vchsmuseum.org. It is requested that reservations be made by Jan. 24. Seating is limited.
