Car auction to raise money for Wabash Valley Boy Scouts

Car is custom Mitsubishi Express


TERRE HAUTE — The Boy Scouts of America and  Crossroads of America Council’s Wabash Valley District is hosting a fundraiser to auction off a one of a kind, completely customized Mitsubishi Eclipse hot rod.

The auction opens for viewing at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 8 at The Auto House, 1100 South Third Street, Terre Haute. Bidding will start at 11 a.m.

The car, donated by Bryan Phillips of Phillips and Associates, features a Nitrous Express, cold air intake, tinted windows, 19-inch Koenig tantrum wheels, painted brake calipers, roll cage, Greddy body kit, 2 JL Audio subwoofers with 1,000 watt amp, custom paint job, custom two-tone interior, custom exhaust, carbon fiber hood, and green underglow setup.

The car is valued at $35,000 and all proceeds will benefit Boy Scouts in the Wabash Valley District.
