Vigo County Jail Log: July 19, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Christopher A. Hill, 25, 2000 block of North 20th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:24 p.m. Domestic battery (two counts).

Jamie J. Cottingham, 37, 300 block of 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:34 p.m. Failure to appear.

Aaron K. Clem, 33, 5200 block of North Pierson, Terre Haute. Booked 4:25 p.m. Parole violation.

Michael J. Marshall, 29, 1500 block of Eighth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 5:05 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Jacob J. Cuvelier, 20, 10 block of Greenhaven Court, Terre Haute. Booked 6:03 p.m. Court order.

Timothy P. Russel, 36, 1400 block of Chase Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:05 p.m. Battery and public intoxication.

Okesha M. Bills, 34, 2500 block of 25th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:25 p.m. Public intoxication.

Robert L. Dailey, 29, 11300 block of East Rio Grande Avenue, Brazil. Booked 9:37 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Daniel A. Brown, 27, 2900 block of Maple Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 9:55 p.m. Robbery, criminal confinement and resisting law enforcement.

William E. Porter, 55, 2100 block of South Third Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 10:45 p.m. Battery.

Friday

Mitchell J. Nidey, 24, 700 block of North Sycamore Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:44 a.m. Battery-domestic, possession of marijuana/hash and intimidation.

Rodney D. Woods, 54, 1100 block of South Eighth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:45 a.m. Public intoxication.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
