TERRE HAUTE —
A man shot in an attempted robbery at his home Tuesday is in stable condition today at an Indianapolis hospital and is expected to recover, said John Plasse, Terre Haute chief of police.
Two men allegedly entered the man’s home on Buckeye Street, where an altercation led to the man being shot, according to the THPD. He was transported to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment.
The incident, which was reported to police about 1:30 p.m., did not appear to be a home invasion, Plasse said.
No arrests have been made in the case and police are still investigating, he told the Tribune-Star this morning.
The suspects in the case were described as two black males between ages 20 and 30 wearing bandanas and dark hoodies.
