Indiana Conservation Officers arrested a Parke County woman on Friday for allegedly stealing items over a period of several years at Turkey Run State Park.
Conservation officers conducted an investigation which resulted in the seizure of thousands of items that had been stolen.
Lesa Bilskie, 50, an employee at the Turkey Run Inn, was arrested on charges of theft, a class-D Felony.
The investigation began in regard to items missing from the Turkey Run Inn and camp store. Most of the items stolen were merchandise and camping equipment. A search warrant was issued for Bilskie’s home, where property valued in excess of $5,000 was recovered.
Bilskie was booked into the Parke County Jail in Rockville, where her bond is set at $10,000 cash.
