I-70 project will restrict lanes beginning today

Project will patch and resurface the interstate

TERRE HAUTE — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a resurfacing project on Interstate 70 will restrict lanes beginning today, Thursday, July 11.

This project on I-70 will patch and resurface the interstate from just east of the Wabash River Bridge to just west of U.S. 40/Indiana 46. 

This project, awarded to Wabash Valley Asphalt for $7.2 million, is scheduled for completion by Oct. 18 of this year.

The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather.
