Vigo County Jail Log: Aug. 2, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Jeremy York, 18, 300 block of East Georgia Street, Brazil. Booked 8:22 a.m. Failure to appear.

Michael E. Thom, 48, 5500 block of East County Road 500 South, Rockville. Booked 9:37 a.m. Probation violation.

Frank E. Sholar, 33, 100 block of North 14th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:55 a.m. Battery and residential entry.

Hilary L. Williams, 21, 2900 block of South Eighth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:59 a.m. Forgery.

Kevin D. Carlson, 47, 3400 block of Gun Club Road, Clinton. Booked 1:05 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Deanna G. Smith, 22, 5600 block of East Beagle Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 2:31 p.m. Court order.

Daniel L. Patton, 36, 900 block of Locust Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:24 p.m. Operating while intoxicated, leaving scene property, driver never licensed and criminal recklessness.

Mary E. Berry, 51, 1400 block of Third Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 6:29 p.m. Failure to appear.

Austin B. Wright, 19, 800 block of Roosevelt Street, Linton. Booked 9:26 p.m. Probation violation.

Eduardo Barrera Jr., 33, 8700 block of Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 10:19 p.m. Theft.

Brett D. Fields, 44, 100 block of South Sixth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 11:18 p.m. Failure to appear.


John Donham IV, 19, 1000 block of Sixth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:59 a.m. Failure to appear.

Deonte T. Nance, 22, 700 block of East 80th Street, Chicago, Ill. Booked 3:02 a.m. False reporting/informing.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
