Vigo County Jail Log: Aug. 1, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Wednesday

Mark D. Burns, 51, 1100 block of South 31st Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:50 a.m. Domestic battery.

Anthony E. Cross, 41, 8400 block of South U.S. 41, Terre Haute. Booked 8:06 a.m. Probation violation and contempt of court.

Austin J. Sedletzeck, 21, 1400 block of North 23rd Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:57 a.m. Court order.

Michael S. Collier, 18, 3000 block of North 6 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:06 a.m. Criminal trespassing and minor consuming.

John P. Harpold, 33, 10 block of Lee Road, Phenix City, Ala. Booked 1:13 p.m. Court order (two counts).

Robert McFarling, 29, 1400 block of South 25th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:01 p.m. Battery with serious endangerment.

Robert W. Russell, 31, 1300 block of North Ninth Street, Clinton. Booked 3:34 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Craig A. Shepard, 33, 300 block of South Eighth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 3:40 p.m. Failure to appear.

Christopher Hayden IV, 19, 500 block of Valley Road, Terre Haute. Booked 4:44 p.m. Child exploitation and child pornography.

Thursday

Ian M. Dunlap, 31, 21200 block of East Terre Haute Road, Paris, Ill. Booked 12:45 a.m. Failure to appear.

Bradley E. Furney, 22, transient, Terre Haute. Booked 12:30 a.m. Failure to register as a sex/violent offender.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
