Vigo County Jail Log: July 31, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

Joseph T. Ford III, 62, 2200 block of North Tabortown Road 62, Terre Haute. Booked 1:28 p.m. Child molesting.

Nikkaray S. Hughes, 21, 300 block of Kent Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:19 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Tucker Ray, 18, 10 block of Doe Court, Terre Haute. Booked 3:34 p.m. Child exploitation.

Petter J. Tanoos II, 18, 1000 block of Park Place South, Terre Haute. Booked 3:43 p.m. Child exploitation and sexual battery.

James B. Fugate, 39, 6200 block of South Sandstone Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:37 p.m. Domestic battery (two counts), pointing a firearm and habitual traffic violation.

Wilson M. Matias, 25, 1200 block of North 11 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:01 p.m. Domestic battery and driver never licensed.

Cody E. Campbell, 21, 6700 block of Indiana 42, Poland, Ind. Booked 6:29 p.m. Criminal trespassing.

Jermaine A. Lawson, 18, 1300 block of Fifth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 6:31 p.m. Criminal trespassing.

Jeremy J. Wiggins, 24, 200 block of North Sixth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 7:56 p.m. Domestic battery.

Herman D. Shouse, 56, 1900 block of Beech Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:04 p.m. Failure to appear.

Wednesday

Matthew J. Fisher, 26, 9600 block of Hayne Road, Terre Haute. Booked 2:12 a.m. Operating while intoxicated and possession of methamphetamine.

Courtney Z. Burns, 23, 1100 block of South 31st Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:52 a.m. Battery.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
