TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Tyler Kuras, 22, 100 block of North Harrison Street, Russellville. Booked 10:00 a.m. Parole violation.

Dennis L. Leek, 25, 800 block of South 10th Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 11:54 a.m. Invasion of privacy.

Rusty W. Lafleur, 33, 1600 block of Chestnut Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:50 p.m. Court order.

Michael N. Valledor, 23, Terre Haute. Booked 3:37 p.m. Bond revocation.

Melinda M. Smith, 27, 1600 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:59 p.m. Court order.

Thomas J. Traver, 33, 1600 block of South Center Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6 p.m. Habitual traffic violator.

Terry Auten, 51, 3000 block of Darwin Road, West Terre Haute. Booked 7:02 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Howard L. Harris, 30, 7900 block of Greenwood Court, Terre Haute. Booked 9 p.m. Probation violation and failure to appear.

Peggy B. Balensuela, 54, 100 block of South 26th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:42 p.m. Public intoxication.

Tamala S. Norris, 51, 1500 block of Seventh Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11:22 p.m. Domestic battery.

Friday

Alex I. Weinberg, 18, 2000 block of College Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 1:29 a.m. Battery.

A. Schreurs-Marshall, 18, 6000 block of Bonnie Lane, Lowell. Booked 2:40 a.m. Possession of controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

Nathaniel C. Disney, 23, 1300 block of Walnut Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:45 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Mackenzie A. Kreutz, 18, 15200 block of Durbin Street, Crown Point. Booked 3:48 a.m. Operating while intoxicated and possession of marijuana/hash.

Susan Shelton, 53, 6000 block of North Little Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:15 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
