State Police arrest three people on meth related charges

TERRE HAUTE — Indiana State Police arrested three people Friday in Terre Haute on allegations they were conspiring to make methamphetamine.

According to an ISP news release, troopers went to a home on North 12th Street on Friday afternoon with an arrest warrant for Chad McKillop, 39, of Terre Haute for contempt of court. During his arrest, troopers identified two other people they suspected of meth-related activity. Further investigation found the three had allegedly been buying pseudoephedrine, an ingredient in methamphetamine, and reselling it in violation of Indiana law, according to police.

McKillop is facing allegations of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, a class-B felony, selling precursors with intent to manufacture, a class-D felony and also contempt of court.

Also arrested were Tona Pepelea, 43, and Derek Blair, 42, both of Terre Haute. They are also facing allegations of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and selling precursors with intent to manufacture meth.

The Indiana State Police Meth Lab Enforcement Team from the Putnamville Post has made several meth-related arrests in recent weeks. They encourage the public to contact the post at 765-653-4114 with any information related to illegal methamphetamine activity.
