Arts Illiana announces FY 2015 Regional Initiative Grant Workshop

Arts Illiana will host a grant information session for organizations with arts programming or projects in advance of the March 3 application deadline for the Indiana Arts Commission FY2015 Regional Initiative grant program.

Nonprofit organizations in Clay, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo counties are in the Region Six service area administered by Arts Illiana on behalf of the IAC. The FY2105 guidelines and the RIG application are available now.

The information workshop for both Arts Organization Support and Arts Project Support grant categories will be offered from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the Peeler Arts Center Auditorium on the DePauw campus in Greencastle.

The workshop is free, but registration is required by calling Regional Services Coordinator at 812-235-5007, or emailing info@artsilliana.org.

Arts Illiana requires a letter of intent prior to submitting a Regional Initiative grant application. The letter of intent is due by Feb. 1. Submission guidelines, information on FY 2015 grant deadlines and other important dates are available via the Regional Initiative Grant link at artsilliana.org.

The Indiana Arts Commission Individual Artist Program also is accepting applications.

Hoosier artists in selected disciplines have until Feb. 7 to submit applications for the IAC Individual Artist Program grant. Eligible projects are in the areas of Crafts, Design, Media Arts, Photography and Visual Arts; and Access and Folk Arts in those disciplines. Artists with disabilities are encouraged to apply for related projects.

Application guidelines and the online grant application system are available at www.in.gov/arts/individualartistprogram.htm.
