Vigo County Jail Log: June 17, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Monday

Candace M. Godsey, 31, 8700 block of Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 7:34 a.m. Neglect of a dependent, felony police battery, misdemeanor police battery, resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

Tina D. Newman, 42, 200 block of East U.S. 40, Brazil. Booked 8 a.m. Failure to appear.

Charnail Haines, 31, 100 block of Rangeline Road, Clinton. Booked 11:15 a.m. Forgery.

Joshua W. Henry, 26, 1300 block of Ash Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:18 a.m. Probation violation (two counts).

Michael E. Holdridge, 48, 1200 block of North Fourth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:15 p.m. Probation violation.

Michael A. Newburn, 24, 900 block of North Eighth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:29 p.m. Theft.

Jauston J. Huerta, 43, 800 block of Cypress Street, New Roads, La. Booked 2:56 p.m. Court order (two counts).

Kenneth D. Pugh, 46, 500 block of West Broadway Street, Shelburn. Booked 3:42 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Brooklyn D. Hudson, 23, 2200 block of North Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 10:55 p.m. Driving while suspended.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
