TERRE HAUTE — Submission of plea agreements is scheduled for two Terre Haute teens connected to a June 2013 incident in which an allegedly intoxicated and unconscious minor female was sexually assaulted at a local hotel.

Co-defendant Tucker Lee Ray, 19, has a plea hearing set for June 23. His pre-sentence report is due to the court by June 16.

Co-defendant Christopher Hayden, 20, had a court date set for late July, but that date is likely to be rescheduled because a calendar conflict.

Tanoos faces charges of child exploitation, a class-C felony, and sexual battery, a class-D felony.

Ray faces charges of sexual misconduct with a minor and child exploitation, both class-C felonies, along with class-D felony sexual battery.

Hayden faces charges of child exploitation and possession of child pornography, a class-D felony.

The three defendants were arrested in July 2013 after an Indiana State Police investigation. According to probable cause affidavits, the three defendants attended an under-age drinking party at an apartment in the 500 block of South Fifth Street on June 30. They were accompanied by a 17-year-old female, and her friend. The friend is the alleged victim, a minor younger than 16 but older than 12.

The teens later ended up at a local hotel where the incident involving the minor victim is alleged to have occurred.
