Vigo County Jail Log: May 15, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Christopher A. Bowman, 26, 1400 block of South Sixth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:38 a.m. Theft.

Charles Dinkins, 59, 200 block of Cherry Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:30 p.m. Arson.

Alivia Starr, 19, 2900 block of Krumbhaar Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:12 p.m. Failure to appear.

Brittany M. Cleeton, 25, 300 block of North 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:33 p.m. Failure to appear.

Brandon P. Shorter, 30, 800 block of South 19th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:20 p.m. Theft.


Frank R. Rich, 20, 1400 block of South Ninth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:46 a.m. Probation violation.

Stephanie F. Stephens, 26, 10 block of Foulkes Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 1:54 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
