Vigo County Jail Log: Oct. 25, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Debra A. Butchin, 47, 200 block of West Johnson Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 1:15 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Ernest L. Hoopingarner, 40, 900 block of Eighth Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 2:24 p.m. Failure to appear.

Linda S. Anthony, 66, 1100 block of North Lincoln Street, Robinson, Ill. Booked 3:57 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Angela L. Elkins, 43, 1000 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:31 p.m. Invasion of privacy.

John G. Diekhoff, 45, 3800 block of Phillips Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 10:57 p.m. Battery.

Shane D. Hughes, 21, 2000 block of South Thousand Oaks, Indianapolis. Booked 11:10 p.m. Failure to appear.

Clayton Wilson, 21, 1300 block of North 20th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:58 p.m. Receiving stolen property.

Friday

Dylan J. Kirk, 22, 4100 block of East Isabell Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:19 a.m. Failure to appear, possession of controlled substance and possession of marijuana/hash.

Courtney Z. Burns, 23, 1100 block of South 31st Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2 a.m. Disorderly conduct.

Michelle E. Kochvar, 21, 300 block of Trail Street, Michigan City. Booked 2:15 a.m. Failure to appear.

Dalton P. Millikan, 21, 5800 block of South 360 East, Hillsdale. Booked 3:07 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Stephanie L. Lindsey, 31, 300 block of North 14 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:48 a.m. Court order.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
