Vigo County Jail Log: Oct. 2, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

Michael A. Myers, 34, 3000 block of Fenwood Ave., Terre Haute. Booked 9:40 a.m. Parole violation.

Donald Allen, 43, 800 block of North Ninth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:20 a.m. Escape.

Owen S. Bates, 47, 16100 block of South Earle Place, Farmersburg. Booked 12:35 p.m. Habitual traffic violator.

Samantha J. Quinn, 30, 1200 block of North Sixth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:41 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Ciara F. Ramsey, 32, 1900 block of North Eighth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:56 p.m. Possession of controlled substance and criminal conversion.

Jamie J. Cottingham, 37, 300 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:27 p.m. Public intoxication.

Roy M. Reed, 39, 9300 block of East Oregon Church Road, Terre Haute. Booked 9:09 p.m. Public intoxication.

Wednesday

Shane M. Medcalf, 39, 2400 block of North 26th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:18 a.m. Domestic battery.

Preston C. Lee, 26, 2300 block of Washington Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:04 a.m. Possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana/hash and possession of controlled substance (two counts).

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
