CASEY, Ill. — A multi-vehicle accident involving at least one semi-truck Sunday morning stopped traffic for about two hours along Interstate 70 in Clark County, Ill., authorities said.

The accident occurred on Interstate 70 eastbound at milepost 133 between Casey, Ill., and Martinsville, Ill., police said.

Police had not released reports on injuries as of Sunday night.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office warned motorists of slick spots. Police advised them to slow down and allow plenty of travel time after a weather system that moved through the area overnight, resulted in snow and icy roads.
