Terre Haute Catholic Charities Foodbank in cooperation with B&S Plumbing Heating & Cooling Inc. are helping less fortunate families in the area by offering warm smiles and hearty meals this holiday season.
Through Terre Haute Catholic Charities Foodbank and United Way of the Wabash Valley, B&S Plumbing Heating & Cooling Inc. is providing hams to families in the area to help complete their Christmas dinners.
“The holidays are times for family, but they are also a time when many families are in need,” Sally Stewart, B&S Plumbing Heating & Cooling Inc., said.
Catholic Charities and United Way of the Wabash Valley will distribute the frozen hams at 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, at Ryves Youth Center at 14th and Locust streets. First come, first served. Limit one ham per household. Must show proof of residency.
“We are thrilled that B&S Plumbing Heating & Cooling Inc. made this very generous gift to our community,” Troy Fears, UWWV executive director, said. “This will help ensure that many families in the area will have a Christmas dinner to remember.”
