GREENCASTLE — A Greencastle man was arrested at the home he shares with his 2-year-old son Friday morning on numerous meth-related charges, according to a news release.
Joshua D. Dalton, 32, of Greencastle was arrested at 10 a.m. by the Indiana State Police Putnamville District Meth Suppression Unit after about a 24-hour investigation into possible meth activity ongoing at his home on North College Street in Greencastle, police said.
According to police, an active “one pot” meth lab was found in the kitchen area of the residence. The suspect’s 2-year-old son was in the home during the meth activity and was removed into the custody of the Indiana Department of Child Services, Putnam County, police said.
Police said Dalton is being held in the Putnam County Jail on numerous meth-related charges, such as manufacturing methamphetamine, a B felony, and D-felony charges for possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors, dumping controlled waste and neglect of a dependent.
